Leads Come In and the Handoff Breaks Down
Forms submit, records get created, and then follow-up depends on somebody noticing.
I set up routing, alerts, and ownership so every lead lands with a named person and nothing sits unnoticed.
B2B Marketing Operations & Technology
I build and fix the routing, lifecycle rules, and handoffs between a form fill and a sales conversation, and keep them working month after month. I work with B2B teams that don’t have a dedicated Marketing Ops person, and with the agencies that support them.
What I get called about
It’s rarely one broken workflow. It’s usually several small problems that add up, and no one has the time to own them.
Forms submit, records get created, and then follow-up depends on somebody noticing.
I set up routing, alerts, and ownership so every lead lands with a named person and nothing sits unnoticed.
Years of workflows, fields, lists, integrations, and one-off fixes have piled up. It still runs, but nobody is completely sure what can be changed safely.
I audit what’s there, retire what isn’t needed, and document the rest so your team can change it with confidence.
Source fields are blank or overwritten, campaigns aren’t tied to pipeline, and every report starts with an export to a spreadsheet.
I fix source tracking and campaign attribution, then build reports your team can run without a spreadsheet.
How you can hire me
Some teams need a second set of eyes. Some need a specific build fixed. Others need experienced hands in the system every month. The engagement should match the work.
Figure out what’s working, what’s quietly broken, and what’s worth fixing first — with a plan your team can use.
Bring me a defined problem — lead routing, lifecycle logic, campaign infrastructure, integrations, reporting, or a conversion build — and I’ll own it through QA.
Hands-on Marketing Ops support when the work is too important to leave sitting, but another full-time hire doesn’t make sense.
I can work with your team directly or behind the scenes for an agency, under the agency’s name. I also build websites, landing pages, and forms when they connect back into the CRM and automation.
Platforms & systems
HubSpot is a major part of my current work, but the job is bigger than a portal. I’ve worked across CRM, marketing automation, integrations, reporting, and the forms and landing pages that feed them.
The goal isn’t to move you to a favorite platform. It’s to make the systems you already have work together, and keep them working.
About
I’m Jeff Fishwick. I’ve spent 12+ years inside B2B marketing operations — building automation, improving CRM and lead processes, supporting campaign execution, and owning the reporting that leadership actually uses.
I’m most useful where marketing, technology, and process meet. The work might be a workflow that no longer makes sense, a lead handoff Sales stopped trusting, a reporting model nobody can reconcile, or a campaign process that has accumulated too many manual steps.
Most weeks my hands are on the thing itself — tracing records, building workflows, cleaning up logic, testing integrations, fixing lifecycle rules, and making sure the process works after the project is over. That hands-on work is what you’re buying.
Let's talk
Tell me what isn’t working. “Our lead routing is a mess,” “the campaign process is too manual,” or “nobody knows what half these workflows do” is enough to start. You’ll get a straight answer on what I think is happening, whether it needs me, and what the next step should be.
